# **Skin Editor**

Paint a skin straight onto the 3D model or on the texture next to it. Layers, grid, classic and slim model, export to 64x64 PNG.

Model

**Base layer**

**Overlay**

**Grid**

Both views paint the same texture. In 3D, dragging on the model paints and dragging beside it orbits the camera. Shortcuts: P pencil, F fill, E eraser, S shading, D dither, I eyedropper, M symmetry, Ctrl+Z undo.

## **Features**

### **Two views, one texture**

Paint on the 3D model or on the 64x64 sheet beside it — both write to the same file. A hit on the model turns into a texture pixel through UV coordinates, so you fix detail in 2D and judge the whole thing in 3D.

### **Symmetry mapped face by face**

Mirroring is not a plain image flip. Every texel has a partner on the other side of the model, swapping the left and right faces and both limbs, so the left sleeve is drawn along with the right one.

### **Everything in the browser**

No pixel is sent to a server. Loading by player name only fetches the texture address from Mojang; the painting, undo and PNG export all happen locally.
