# **Rank Generator**

Design pixel-perfect rank tags for chat, tab list and scoreboards — pick an icon, a style and a gradient, then export the PNG for your resource pack.

Rank label text5/24

Prefix icon

PNG or WebP, ideally 8×8 or 16×16 — it is drawn without smoothing, so pixel art stays sharp. Bigger images are scaled down to fit the tag height.

Icon placement

Icon and label share one background box, the way most chat prefixes look.

## **Features**

### **Real Minecraft metrics**

Glyphs come out 5 pixels wide and 7 tall on a 6-pixel advance, the same grid the game's own font uses, so a tag dropped into chat lines up with the text next to it instead of floating a pixel off.

### **Icon joined or standalone**

Keep the icon inside the tag like a normal chat prefix, or give it its own box with its own border and a transparent gap — the badge look, without editing anything by hand.

### **Pixels all the way out**

Nothing is anti-aliased. The tag is drawn at its true size, and 2×, 4×, 8× and 16× exports are plain nearest-neighbour scales of that same bitmap.
