# **Cookies**

This site runs no analytics and no advertising. We use only what the service cannot work without, plus one cookie that remembers your language.

Last updated: 28 August 2026

## **What cookies are**

Small files your browser stores. They let a site recognise that you are signed in, or remember the language you picked.

## **Why we do not ask for consent**

Consent is required for cookies that are not necessary — chiefly tracking and advertising ones. We set none of those.

That includes analytics: we use Umami on our own server, which stores no cookies and nothing else on your device, so there is nothing here to accept or refuse.

Showing a consent dialog that switches nothing on or off would be misleading. Instead we tell you, and list everything below.

If a tool that sets cookies ever appears here, you will get a real choice before anything is stored.

## **Exactly what we store**

| **Name** | **Kind** | **Lifetime** | **Why** |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| better-auth.session\_token | Essential | Until you sign out | Keeps you signed in. Without it every page would ask you to log in again. |
| spectra\_lang | Functional | One year | Remembers the language you chose so it does not reset on every visit. |
| cf\_clearance | Security | Set by Cloudflare | Set by Cloudflare when it verifies you are not a bot. It appears only if that check is triggered. |

## **Browser storage**

`spectra_cookie_notice` — remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice. It never leaves your browser.

## **Managing cookies**

You can delete cookies in your browser settings, and block them for this site — though signing in will then stop working. The button below clears what we can clear ourselves: the remembered language and the dismissed notice.
